Things are going good Ashton. I joined forces with Rick Madison and decided to keep the name Faithstar. Our website is www.faithstarnation.com. Check us out if you like. We are moving along by the Grace of the Man upstairs. How are things going with Reborn Comics. I would like to reach out my hand again in fellowship and friendship, and maybe we can work in a collaboration in the future. If interested, please send me an email to joseph@faithstarnation.com. Thank you for the shout out, Ashton

Hi Ashton. Thank you for the message. You come across as a humble and great brother. It is an honour to befriend you. Not only may we be business partners in making the most of our passion for comic book art, but I want us to build a friendship and brotherhood in the fellowship of Jesus Christ. Do me a favor Ashton, Send me an email if you have one to my email at josephregis@yahoo.com. Me and my Business partners are working on establishing a Comic book company glorifying Jesus Christ and GOD. I feel GOD has sent you to bless our company with your great talents and fellowship. With any evential profits GOD may bless us with, we plan on sharing the profits with all the creators involved. GOD has expressed to you a sense of my trustworthy-ness. It is by his grace and power I am honest and trustworthy. But I don't want to just say these in words, I want the opportunity to show it with my actions. We have a grand vision with our company. We want all we do with the company to focus on the glorification of Jesus Christ and GOD almighty with the empowerment and guidance of the Holy Spirit. We want to create great comics that expresses the victory of God over the principalities of darkness, telling great stories with great art with our Company. We are initializing all this over the internet, but with the grace and allowance of GOD we eventially want to expand into other media in the future, example: print, television, movies, clothing, etc. Our company is a collaboration and partnership of Christian men creating comics to glorify Christ and the Father. I've been praying for GOD to send other like minded Christian artist creators to bless our business, and I feel he has definitely blessed us with a great artist creator as your self Ashton. Do not worry about the distance. With Technology, you could live on the other side of the world and be able to still build something together. As you email me I will catch you up to date more on our game plan. Ashton, we need dedicated and commited brothers in Christ with our company we are building. we are starting from scratch, but with a diligent work ethic and Faith and GOD's will, we can build our comic book media company into a bonified business that may be a huge blessing and profitable for all of us involved. But that may take some years and the Blessing of GOD to get to that point, and from what I see of your cool artwork, I know you are definitely not lazy. Email me as soon as you can Ashton, I look forward to your contact, your friendship and partnership in Christ. Take care of yourself Ashton and GOD Bless you.

Thanks for the comment.... I created that one.... It's a pet project that is still in the preliminary stages... I have the story and most of the character studies done but I haven't actually begun production yet.... waiting for the time when I'll put everything into it and go all the way with a full commitment.
I really dig your work....you should post some more...

Consider the words of C.S. Lewis:
"If there lurks in most modern minds the notion that to desire our own good and to earnestly hope for the enjoyment of it is a bad thing, I suggest that this notion has crept in from Kant and the Stoics and is no part of the Christian faith. Indeed, if we consider the unblushing promises of reward and the staggering nature of the rewards promised in the Gospels, it would seem that our Lord finds our desires, not too strong, but too weak. We are half-hearted creatures, fooling around with drink and sex and ambition when infinite joy is offered us, like an ignorant child who wants to go on making mud pies in a slum because he cannot imagine what is meant by the offer of a holiday at sea. We are far too easily pleased."

Nice realism style. I was especially impressed with your Picasso portrait.

I'd love to see more Christian comics as well, but my focus is for females. There needs to be more material for girls--they're the ones buying up all the translated Japanese manga!

I pray God blesses you, and helps you succeed in the paths He leads you in.

Hey Ashton, when you get a chance can you read these two posts I wrote on my site and provide some feedback? I'm think they're great pieces and I'm trying to get some discussion going while raising my page ranking. Also feel free to forward the posts to others. Thanks.
