'The Ballad' Graphic Novel, an Indiegogo campaign.

Hello CCAS Web Community!

Angel Lite Comics and DY-Comics are teaming up to produce a joint project Graphic Novel, “The Ballad”. A space opera romance with cowboys, outlaws, and superheroes beyond the stars, ‘The Ballad” was created by and written by David Rothschiller. Donny Yule is our comic artist, and the project looks like it’s going to be a blast to be a part of!

We are starting a crowd funding campaign over at Indiegogo, to supplement the lean payments we are making to our artist. Donny is great, he volunteered to take on the project even though we can only pay him a fraction of what the work is worth. And so, we are starting our Indiegogo campaign to hopefully supplement what we are paying.

We don’t have a video to show you, but we can give you a ‘behind the scenes’ glimpse of the project as it unfolds. If you’d like to see the story boards for the first third of the graphic novel and the text script of the whole thing, please visit us at http://www.angellitecomics.com/the_ballad_project_work_space . We will update the site as we make progress on the project.

There are many Kickstarters and Indiegogo campaigns for very worthy comic projects, and there are donations to make to Church and non-profit organizations. It’s hard enough just to make ends meet. The economy isn’t in good shape, and we will understand if you can’t donate to our Indiegogo right now. Could you please let people know about it though? And if you can afford a donation of a couple of dollars, well, thank you very much! The campaign is at: http://www.indiegogo.com/projects/the-ballad-graphic-novel/x/337500

God bless you all, those you hold dear, and your own creative projects and ministries for God’s great glory and the salvation of souls!
