Peregrine introduces a digital glove that instead of mimicking a mouse, it mimicks a keyboard. This creates a new workflow of tablet/mouse in conjunction with a digital glove on the another hand. Because this glove mimicks a keyboard, there is no keyboard required in today's keyboard shortcut workflows.
Presently, it is usb only. They are releasing a bluetooth version in the future, but did cite wired as commonly known to have the fastest reliable performance. The link is below.
The digital glove has always been an attempt, and the costs are generally what have limited acceptance. This new perigrine glove sells at 150 dollars, making it not far from the cost of a cad mouse and far cheaper than a professional tablet. It has been tested already with 3d modeling programs and design programs. The military has been asking about it. Gamers are liking it. It may well be the new workflow some day in the future. Presently, it is being marketed to gamers. It may also be the only digital glove presently being marketed in Small, Medium, and Large hand sizes.
The only reason it's being looked at is because the reduced space it takes up, the posture it improves, and the increased speed it gives. Which is exactly why it's being marketed to gamers first, they generally want these things before other users.
The 'Spirituality in Comics' Panel from San Diego Comic-Con 2011
In comics, movies, and even Broadway musicals like “The Book Of Mormon”, spiritual themed work seems to be unexpectedly coming from the least religious of sources.
Panelists including SERGIO CARIELLO (The Action Bible), RUSSELL DALTON (Marvelous Myths: Marvel Superheroes and Everyday Faith), BUZZ DIXON (Serenity/Hits & Misses), and MIKE SHIELDS (Blue Blazes) discuss how a new generation of comics and pop culture are exploring timeless truths and also address the question “Is Mass Media Our New Church?”
