Christopher Haupt said… Hey Momma my bad for not getting back at you. I've been good. Haven't touched the music in a while, but it's on my schedule in the next few months. The album is almost done I just have to record one more verse and rerecord a verse that I can make better. I've been working on a children's book for a writer who was in dire need of an illustrator. The story is very powerful, and it deals with children and autism. I just finished it a few days ago so now it's on it's way to print. Can't wait to hear from you, if it's in a couple of months that's cool. I think that's how we do. LOL. Later.

Emily Colonello said… Hi Lisa, Thank you for writing back to me so soon. I started thinking up the story idea I posted about 10 years ago and since have tried to refine the characters and events. Personally I think it would make a really cool graphic novel but I don't draw that well or have the time to put to it, which is a real bummer. But I was thinking if some one liked it and wanted to make it a comic book I could give them the full story, actually there's three stories in my head, that's why it's called "Elorian Chronicles". I'd really like to hear back from you and hear what you think.
Thanks and God bless.><>
Emily.
Emily Colonello said… Dear Lisa Hutchinson,
I just wanted to say that your art work is truly amazing. I really like your style of drawing and incorporating a Biblical theme to it.
God bless.><>

The 'Spirituality in Comics' Panel from San Diego Comic-Con 2011
In comics, movies, and even Broadway musicals like “The Book Of Mormon”, spiritual themed work seems to be unexpectedly coming from the least religious of sources.
Panelists including SERGIO CARIELLO (The Action Bible), RUSSELL DALTON (Marvelous Myths: Marvel Superheroes and Everyday Faith), BUZZ DIXON (Serenity/Hits & Misses), and MIKE SHIELDS (Blue Blazes) discuss how a new generation of comics and pop culture are exploring timeless truths and also address the question “Is Mass Media Our New Church?”
