Hi ya, I know you like Christian comics so I know you'll love The Word for WORD Bible Comic(Unabridged, historically accurate graphic novel of the Bible with a high view of scripture. For ages 15+)

To complete the first book I need your help, as I am raising funds on Kickstarter. My passion is to get God's Word in full into the hands of young believer and unbelievers and comic lovers of all ages, in the hope they will come to really know God. Please check it out at the KS page, it's going well but I still need lots of backers so I hope as a CCAS member you'll please pledge to support this project...

If you are concerned about the accuracy and faithfulness to the text please read this Blog...

PS - Please add me as a friend here on CCAS

No French, but how about Mandarin? Sorry, brother! So, people from New Caledonia speak only French? Actually this thing was supposed to be translated in a few languages; I'll let you know when I find out what's up. Thanks for asking! How have you been?

Yes, Photoshop! I always start with either scanned pencils or inks. I can't seem to utilize the pen tools well enough to manually ink with MS or PS. (Maybe some day though....)

Hello Iraphat! I'm always impressed with artist/pastors; what a double anointing!! Do you use MangaStudio? I see a tone you've used that's in that program :) Nice to meet you.

Thank you for your comments on my artwork! DarkWorld was my first project until Nannar's Hope, and Jackket came along. But after praying about it God told me to finish Jackket. One day my hope is to go back and finish this project too. :-D

well I meant about your experiences of being a young pastor, but I do like those screens on you drawings, is it from the manga program?

Wow, I have a young pastor starring in my comic. Maybe I can ask you some questions for the comic. ;-) Welcome to CCAS!

HI Lraphat,

Happy Thanksgiving at least here in the US! I'm Scott A. Shuford, one of the new Board members. I wanted to stop in and say thanks for being involved with CCAS! If you have any input or would like to be involved with anything in particular, please let me and Eric Jansen (Membership Coordinator for CCAS) know by contacting us both through the site. We'll be making several announcements in the coming weeks, so stay tuned. To see a bit more about me, check out my profile here on the site. I'm looking forward to getting to know you better.

At Your Service,

Scott A. Shuford
CCAS Board Member 2008-2010

Consider the words of C.S. Lewis:
"If there lurks in most modern minds the notion that to desire our own good and to earnestly hope for the enjoyment of it is a bad thing, I suggest that this notion has crept in from Kant and the Stoics and is no part of the Christian faith. Indeed, if we consider the unblushing promises of reward and the staggering nature of the rewards promised in the Gospels, it would seem that our Lord finds our desires, not too strong, but too weak. We are half-hearted creatures, fooling around with drink and sex and ambition when infinite joy is offered us, like an ignorant child who wants to go on making mud pies in a slum because he cannot imagine what is meant by the offer of a holiday at sea. We are far too easily pleased."
