Hands are some of the hardest things to draw right and they're also something that a lot of artists don't bother learning well enough.  I have put a lot of effort into getting hands right.  Here are some of the things I've done:

1. I have a large filing system with literally thousands of clippings of cars, buildings, faces, and yes hands that I have clipped from magazines and newspaper though the years.  I tape the clippings onto a sheet of paper and put that in a well-organized folder. …

COMIC-CON 2009--Eric Jansen's CCAS Update!

CCAS TABLE/STREET COMIX UPDATE I took 500 of each comic (Street Comix, PARAMAN, etc.) we do at work (FMP/Foursquare Missions Press) and dropped them off at Ralph's house the week before the Con. Ralph and Kevin would drive down early Wednesday morning to unload and set up. Wednesday night was a special Preview Night where they only let in professionals and exhibitors from 6-9pm. Then, the regular main floor hours would be 9:30am-7:00pm, Thursday thru… Continue

Hi ya, I know you like Christian comics so I know you'll love The Word for WORD Bible Comic(Unabridged, historically accurate graphic novel of the Bible with a high view of scripture. For ages 15+)

To complete the first book I need your help, as I am raising funds on Kickstarter. My passion is to get God's Word in full into the hands of young believer and unbelievers and comic lovers of all ages, in the hope they will come to really know God. Please check it out at the KS page, it's going well but I still need lots of backers so I hope as a CCAS member you'll please pledge to support this project...

If you are concerned about the accuracy and faithfulness to the text please read this Blog...

PS - Please add me as a friend here on CCAS

Hi Eric,

I'm really interested in getting more information about the Alpha-Omega magazine. Even if the 30 members are already filled, how does it work for the members that are apart of it?

Hello Eric, I am just getting back involved with CCAS because I have just been unable to spend the time I needed to really be active. I understand if it is too late to be involved in the Alpha-omega photocopy deal but I would love to be a part if it is still open.

Frogboy has changed a great deal, but I think for the better. Any feedback would be appreciated as well.

God bless you man.
