There's this one guy in particular, on the bcc list, who I met and sat next to at a comic book convention back in '01 and we talked shop and became friends, was one of the people I sent this email to. I was forwarding an advertisement email to my friends about the Danny the Dinosaur book 1 announcement from the sellers that I did the art for just to let my friends and especially comic artist and writer friends to know that… Continue

The belief that some cosmic Jewish zombie can make you live forever if you symbolically eat his flesh, drink his blood, and telepathically tell him that you accept him as your master, so he can remove an evil force from your soul that is present in all humanity because a

rib-woman was convinced by a talking snake to eat from a magic tree.

Hi ya, I know you like Christian comics so I know you'll love The Word for WORD Bible Comic(Unabridged, historically accurate graphic novel of the Bible with a high view of scripture. For ages 15+)

To complete the first book I need your help, as I am raising funds on Kickstarter. My passion is to get God's Word in full into the hands of young believer and unbelievers and comic lovers of all ages, in the hope they will come to really know God. Please check it out at the KS page, it's going well but I still need lots of backers so I hope as a CCAS member you'll please pledge to support this project...

If you are concerned about the accuracy and faithfulness to the text please read this Blog...

Me too. It is just great reading. I will be submitting a trib on the next issue. With some pages that I was doing for free comic book day for last year. It was my own short story for my OGN. But I didn't finish writing it nor drawing it in time.

I like your thought pattern...re: creating works combining the Biblical narrative, with history (dinosaurs and such). Right up my alley!

Consider the words of C.S. Lewis:
"If there lurks in most modern minds the notion that to desire our own good and to earnestly hope for the enjoyment of it is a bad thing, I suggest that this notion has crept in from Kant and the Stoics and is no part of the Christian faith. Indeed, if we consider the unblushing promises of reward and the staggering nature of the rewards promised in the Gospels, it would seem that our Lord finds our desires, not too strong, but too weak. We are half-hearted creatures, fooling around with drink and sex and ambition when infinite joy is offered us, like an ignorant child who wants to go on making mud pies in a slum because he cannot imagine what is meant by the offer of a holiday at sea. We are far too easily pleased."

I do the MP3 thing as well and listen at my leisure. I got on early, but still had to go back and listen to a few months worth at a time. It's amazing, getting 2 hours of hardcore evangelism and apologetics each day. I'm definitely out there witnessing more than I ever was, but I could do better. Pray for me in that area, if the Spirit so moves you.

Yeah, Steve, have you been to the Way of the Master website? I go into the radio show section and download the radio show mp3s and it goes way back. I went as far back as August 07 and have been listening and I am now 9 days from catching up to the up to date shows(but will eventually go back to the beginning of 2007. Inspiring radio to listen while I work. It makes the day fly by.

Buscema and Chan were amazing on Conan. Chan's inks were some of the best ever. Some of my favorites have been Jack Kirby, John Byrne and Gene Colan. However, the Frank Miller Daredevil was one of the best runs ever. It was dark and very intense. Miller made the Kingpin one of my favorite all time bad guys. I still have many of those comics.
