"Hello! I enjoyed all 3 of your pics this morning, but this is my favorite:) For some reason it reminds me of the Lord speaking to Jerusalem 'I would have gathered you to me as a mother hen gathers her chicks under her wings, but you would…"
I use pencils, markers, pastels, paint, and chalk. I draw anime style, and enjoy Christopher Harts' art books. I like drawing dramatic portraits, sweet family pictures, and stylish outfits. A majority of my pictures are original characters, but I do enjoy making fan art sometimes.
My Testimony: (We encourage members to share briefly about how their faith in Christ has impacted their lives.)
I was born into a Christian home. Time and trial has made my faith stronger, and I pray that I'll continue to grow in the eyes of the Lord. I feel an overwhelming joy whenever I help lead worship in my church, and I hope to spread the word of God through song for years to come.
Dream Job: (If you could have your dream job in the comics industry, what would it be?)
I don't really want an art related job, I'm interested in being a homemaker.
Favorite Comic Creators:
Takatoshi Shiozawa, Shiro Amano, Evan Stanley, Ben Bates, Akira Himekawa, Rumiko Takahashi, JinLi, Tsubata Nozaki, Ema Toyama's "I Am Here", Ichigo Takano, Masashi Kishimoto, Igor Cicarini, Hiromu Arakawa, Amu Meguro, the guy who did Tokyo Ghoul...

Hello Yoshi, thank you again for the warm welcome. I created an account about a week ago but was having trouble saving a profile picture. The folks with CCAS admin suggested that I delete my account and create a new one to see if that would resolve the problem. Unfortunately it did not, but that is ok. Thanks again.
What anime do I watch? Too much I suspect! (I sneak it in here and there.) I subscribe to Crunchy Roll, so there is a constant stream. I don’t keep up. Story Tale was fun, World Trigger was interesting due to the sheer number of characters, I watched the first 10 episodes of Sword Art Online too many times to admit (I liked evolving relationships or more novel plot lines), The Irregular at Magic High School, a certain scientific railgun, Tokyo Ravens, Darling in the Franxx (I like sci fi if you have not guessed yet), Record of the Grancrest War, Darker than Black, ID0, KADO: The Right Answer, Knights and Magic, ... some are fluff, some have deeper plot lines.
Then there are quieter ones like Food Wars, Gingitsune, Kuroko’s Basketball, New Game, Sound! Euphonium, Plastic Memories which I enjoyed more because of the characters (or maybe I was just watching too much!)
Should I admit to more romantic secret favorite series like Toradora? Hyouka? Fruit Basket? Your Lie in April? No, I won’t mention them.
Thanks! That is Sam from the series I am very slowly putting together. He was the first character I drew. He took a very long time of trial and error. Luckily using a computer for drawing has an undo button! ;-) I used Abobe Draw on an iPad with an Apple Pencil. I saw some of artwork already too. I don’t think I could do that - get it right the first time. I find I need to draw, redraw, and redraw again. But once done I can reuse the drawing many times. But it’s been a fun journey!
Thank you, Yoshi. I appreciate your compliments. Yea, I totally must revisit the bunny some day. Probably when I feel I'm ready to do so. Also, I made a 2018 folder and posted a brush sketch so you can see a more recent example of work since I haven't been posting here for a long time.
