Profile Information

Midgar, sector 7
Area(s) of Interest or Expertise:
I take game and manga charactors and draw them appropiatly. I like drawing the Final Fantasy series the most, but don't play the games.I am good with pencils, markers, chalk, and I've recently started painting. (Not going well.) I draw manga style, and most of the people I draw are from Japanese manga or games.
My Testimony: (We encourage members to share briefly about how their faith in Christ has impacted their lives.)
I was born into a Christian home, and feel encoraged to create beauty out of the darkness.
I want to help others who like the same things as I do enjoy them at a pure level!
Dream Job: (If you could have your dream job in the comics industry, what would it be?)
Designing video game charactors!
Favorite Comic Creators:
Takatoshi Shiozawa, Shiro Amano, Evan Stanley, Ben Bates, Akira Himekawa,

BUMP OF CHICKEN's Niji wo Matsu Hito

There's this song I listen to called "Niji wo Matsu Hito."  One of the lines translated into English is

"It's dark when I open my eyes, like when they were closed. I'll just paint the color myself."

It reminds me that as an artist, I'm here to add color to the world. So I need to create joy or sympathy through my work.

If I can make one person feel happy, even for a second, then anything I do is worth it.

Sometimes I don't see how important real issues are, but the filter I look through helps me continue smiling, even when it hurts.

Hey, I'm drawing a broken mirror, which I've never done before.

Does anybody have advice?

Hello, everyone. Here's another question:

What is your favorite art style to do?

(Sci fi, realistic, manga, abstract...Everything counts.)

I read Kingdom Hearts as well, Kitchen Princess, Pokemon Adventures, and occasionally try new ones (as you probably know, it's tricky to find good ones). Also, there is a member on here named Lisa Hutchinson who created a manga with her friend (they publish under JinLi), called "Shelter of Wings". I bought the first volume and it's pretty good. They're working on the second one. You should check it out at her website,
