Area(s) of Interest or Expertise:
Ministry; writing and illustrating comic books. I do both secular and Christian comics. Check out the majority of my work at CartoonistWill.deviantart.com. I am interested in using my artistic skills for or in ministry. I have been studying God's Word for over 14 years. I do a LOT of reading the Bible and various other things such as commentaries, Jewish Apocrypha, and etc when not drawing or script writing.
My Testimony: (We encourage members to share briefly about how their faith in Christ has impacted their lives.)
I've wanted to be a cartoonist since age 9. I thought I was saved at a young age also, but really accepted Christ at age 14 when I realized what it meant to be be guilty of breaking God's Laws and what it meant to repent. At the age of 17 God spoke to me and commanded me to be a missionary. There's a lot more to my story, but basically I've been struggling to find my way into ministry ever sense. It's taken years (and verbal rebuking from God) to move on from my stubbornness of wanting to be a cartoonist to coming to accept God's calling in my life. I am now hoping to use my artistic skills to bring the love and good news of Jesus Christ to those without Him, as well as to educate and encourage those who already know Him and are known by Him.
Dream Job: (If you could have your dream job in the comics industry, what would it be?)
A ministry position involving comics. Otherwise, that my indie underground comic, SuperMilo, would really take off - but it's really just a distraction from my true calling, serving Jesus Christ.
Favorite Comic Creators:
Stan Sakai, Jeff Smith, Akira Toriyama, Kevin Eastman and Peter Laird, and Steven Purcell. Perhaps more.

Hi ya, I know you like Christian comics so I know you'll love The Word for WORD Bible Comic(Unabridged, historically accurate graphic novel of the Bible with a high view of scripture. For ages 15+)

To complete the first book I need your help, as I am raising funds on Kickstarter. My passion is to get God's Word in full into the hands of young believer and unbelievers and comic lovers of all ages, in the hope they will come to really know God. Please check it out at the KS page, it's going well but I still need lots of backers so I hope as a CCAS member you'll please pledge to support this project...

If you are concerned about the accuracy and faithfulness to the text please read this Blog...

PS - Please add me as a friend here on CCAS

Sir,  Hello there.  I wen tot your site pretty good.  Here is a job for you if you want it.  Please draw me a 'Raegan and RJ in Space!' picture or sketch, e-mail a jpeg at ranger5xrmc@aol.com and I will buy it and send you $30 by certified mail that day.  Go to my web site for ideas.  You can do pencil, computer, whatever.  The web site is http://www.raeganandrjinspace.com where my Christian 'Family Friendly' Space story is.  I will post your work in the 'amazing art' section for kids all over the world to enjoy.  I wrote and illustrated my 11 graphic novels over a four year period, and am now in the process of getting them professionally illustrated by 3 artists that are just starting out.  Two are from this a site - DL Maffett and Jennifer Lusong.  The other I found on elance.  A lot of people have R&RJiS is an awesome idea with unlimited potential.  I would one day like to have action figures, play sets, legos, video games, a cartoon, and a movie trilogy.  Who knows?  God does!  This could be the next Star Wars.  God bless.  Rich Collins
