Dream Job: (If you could have your dream job in the comics industry, what would it be?)
I want to make comics that have a religious undertone that is almost unnoticeable. I don't want people to say "That's a good, for a religious comic". I just want people to simply say "That's a good book".
Welcome to the CCAS. I hope that you make some great connections. There are some very gifted brothers and sisters in the Lord. May the God of our Savior, Jesus Christ, richly bless you in the knowledge of Him.
I sympathize with your goal and there's room in the Lord's art studio for all sorts of creators. I think if you can get our Lord to say of your work, "That's a good book." then you've really got something. Look around the site, check out the blogs and discussions and art, make yourself at home here.
Welcome to the Christian Comic Arts Society (CCAS) Online Network!
Did you know that CCAS has monthly meetings in the Los Angeles area? Contact Eric Jansen for more info!
Also, members of CCAS have produced the APAzine ALPHA-OMEGA for over 25 years! We have about five openings right now! Contact Eric Jansen for more info! (This is a 30-member active-participation-only photocopied magazine for Christian writers and artists who submit a "trib" every other month for fun, fellowship, and critiques by other members. Between postage and your photocopying costs, you might pay anywhere from $5 to $25 per issue.)
