"Hi. Just wanted to say I like your art. I actually have a character named Spiritman in my stories, but he is more of a Superman archetype. Keep up the good work."

Thunderwing

"Thanks. This character can harness electricity and even transform himself into a bolt of lightning. He also has technology in his suit that allows him to use his powers to create electromagnetic fields."

Nightwolf and Ranger

"Thanks. I've loved westerns since I was a kid (especially the original Lone Ranger), so I decided to give him something unique. It also ties into the lineage that he inherits when he takes on the mantle of Nightwolf."

Profile Information

Location:
Raleigh, NC
Gender
Male
Area(s) of Interest or Expertise:
I have greatly enjoyed stories about superheroes since I was a boy. I can't get enough of them and I have been writing my own superhero stories since I was in middle school. I earned a Bachelor's degree in English, with my area of concentration in Creative Writing, to further develop my writing skills.
My Testimony: (We encourage members to share briefly about how their faith in Christ has impacted their lives.)
I made the decision to receive Christ as my Lord and Savior when I was eight years old with the simple faith of a child. As I grew into a man, my faith grew as well, and I realized that it had been placed on a sure foundation. My faith in Jesus Christ is what defines me. Like everyone, I stumble and fall, but Jesus is always there to help me up again and get back into the fight.
Dream Job: (If you could have your dream job in the comics industry, what would it be?)
I would love to write professionally. My dream job would be to start my own comic book company with free reign to tell original, compelling, cutting edge, and godly stories. I also really enjoy writing novels, so becoming a professional novelist with the same amount of freedom would be awesome, too.
Favorite Comic Creators:
Alex Ross, Kurt Busiek, and Mark Waid

Hi ya, I know you like Christian comics so I know you'll love The Word for WORD Bible Comic(Unabridged, historically accurate graphic novel of the Bible with a high view of scripture. For ages 15+)

To complete the first book I need your help, as I am raising funds on Kickstarter. My passion is to get God's Word in full into the hands of young believer and unbelievers and comic lovers of all ages, in the hope they will come to really know God. Please check it out at the KS page, it's going well but I still need lots of backers so I hope as a CCAS member you'll please pledge to support this project...

If you are concerned about the accuracy and faithfulness to the text please read this Blog...

PS - Please add me as a friend here on CCAS
