I've been writing since I could sit down in my living room and watch a marathon of X-Men and Thundercats. It wasn't until my freshman year in college that I realized what God had in store for me. I'm…Continue

Area(s) of Interest or Expertise:
Writing, storytelling, spoken word, songwriting, character design, short stories, novels, novellas, and art.
My Testimony: (We encourage members to share briefly about how their faith in Christ has impacted their lives.)
I was raised in the church at the age of 7 but didn't fully accept Christ until 23. I can say that writing brought me closer to God because I wanted to serve him. I was struggling with being in the world but not of it. It took awhile for me to muster up to courage and turn my life around. What my lord has done in my life is nothing short of extraordinary. I now write Christian Scifi/Fantasies and other gospel themed books and stories to bring the world back to our creator.
Dream Job: (If you could have your dream job in the comics industry, what would it be?)
I would love to work for Image, Dark Horse, Marvel, DC, and any other publisher. Starting my own publishing company is a goal but writing for others is a blessing.
Favorite Comic Creators:
Akira Toriyama, Geoff Johns, Stan Lee, Mark Waid, Alex Ross, Brian Michael Bendis, Hiromu Arakawa, Bryan Lee O'Malley

WWOAH: (World Without A Home): Vol.2 Ch.1 “At End’s Front Door” Page 1 & 2- Sample

Posted on September 29, 2015 at 3:43pm 0 Comments

The bright morning star greeted everyone to a new day. In a condominium, still lost in sleep. Taylor Harchett dreamt about the most wonderful of times she remembered as a child. The chuckles and snickers from soldiers outside could not wake her, not now. She savored every minim, the laughter continuing outside of her closed blinds only added liveliness to her dream. She dreamt of a time when she could smile. A time where life had so many possibilities. A time when her father could make every…

                                        By: Pierre “WriterOfEpics” Gilson

At night, he ponders weighty thoughts of himself, friends, family, and strangers all around. A powerful sensation seizes him when he looks up beyond his reach. Strangely, he is not alone, we all are never truly alone.

“Hey, Wandering Stargazer.”

“What?”

“What…

Drinks On Me (Still in progess. I rushed the ending to fit the maximum word cap. The revised draft will be longer and detailed.)

LA’s streets flourished on Thursday night. Cars parked in red zones and meters buzzed for their maids to handle business. Jessie escorted his gorgeous colleague, Rachel inside a popular establishment. Vault’s Nightlife Club, entranced them with exotic displays of lighting and heavy bass.

“Whoa, can someone turn the lights down!?” Jessie asked one of the passing waitresses.

“Oh! Why yes we can Mr.…

Pierre,

Welcome to CCAS, brother!  Looks like you're looking over the gallery, posting a bit and making yourself comfortable here; excellent.  And you posted some nice looking art too!     May Christ be glorified in our interactions.

Just curious, what kind of a manuscript is it?
