Welcome to the CCAS.  I see that you live in the Southern California area. We have a monthly meeting of the CCAS in the So Cal area. It is the 1st Saturday of each month in either Durate or La Mirada.  If you are interested in attending, let me know. May our gracious Lord and Savior richly bless you in the knowledge of His eternal love.

Penny, I did a quick scan of recent activity by some of our CCAS artists that are trying a range of interesting funding ideas. Check out their sites for alternate funding ideas:

Monica Bruenjes (April 2017) Kick Starter Penguin and Peep: Little Moments  just completed a May 2017 Kick starter (https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/artistmonica/penguin-and-peep-little-moments ) and fully funded her book. PTL!

Bryce Morgan has just released his third e-comic: Scourge of the Shadow Dragon (May 2017) https://itscaptainsun.com/  available through Kindle or as a direct download through Amazon.

Joe Ives has come out with his 10th comic of The Christian Soldiers series(May 2017), available through Lulu at www.lulu.com/shop/joe-ives/the-christian-soldiers/ebook/product-23189066.html   28pages for $1 and he would love to have your reviews!

Mia Pearce was using drawing sessions on Twitch (Aug 2016) to generate interest and some funding   http://www.christiancomicarts.com/profiles/blogs/fundraiser-donate-draw-friday-afternoon

Matt Crotts is marketing his e-comics  through both Amazon Kindle, Drive Through Comics and ComiXology   (Issue 6 came out May 2017)  http://www.christiancomicarts.com/photo/kyriee-issue-6   I’ve been regularly downloading his excellent work through Comixology at  $0.99 an issue.

Justin Martin has created his own site, http://www.rsquaredcomicz.com/  for his own comic Light Weightz, and does interviews through his site as well. Its powered through Gumroad.com    https://gumroad.com/l/dmbI#

Hi, Penny! Welcome to CCAS!

Welcome to the Christian Comic Arts Society (CCAS) Online Network!

Did you know that CCAS has monthly meetings in the Los Angeles area? Contact Eric Jansen for more info!

Also, members of CCAS have produced the APAzine ALPHA-OMEGA for over 25 years!  We have about five openings right now!  Contact Eric Jansen for more info!  (This is a 30-member active-participation-only photocopied magazine for Christian writers and artists who submit a "trib" every other month for fun, fellowship, and critiques by other members.  Between postage and your photocopying costs, you might pay anywhere from $5 to $25 per issue.)
