Hi ya, I know you like Christian comics so I know you'll love The Word for WORD Bible Comic(Unabridged, historically accurate graphic novel of the Bible with a high view of scripture. For ages 15+)

To complete the first book I need your help, as I am raising funds on Kickstarter. My passion is to get God's Word in full into the hands of young believer and unbelievers and comic lovers of all ages, in the hope they will come to really know God. Please check it out at the KS page, it's going well but I still need lots of backers so I hope as a CCAS member you'll please pledge to support this project...

If you are concerned about the accuracy and faithfulness to the text please read this Blog...

PS - Please add me as a friend here on CCAS

They really aren't that different. The benefit of Virginia Beach is the Beach! Artistically, it's not very... progressive, I'll just leave it at that. It's hard to make a living, but I guess that's what I have to just give to God. I grew up here. It's funny, everybody encourages you, from childhood till you go through college, to pursue your God-given talent; that is, until you have to make actual money with it. Oh well, I keep persevering.

I've been to Asheville, specifically, Brevard. It's really nice, the mountains and the waterfalls. I rode Turtleback and Bust-yer-Butt Falls up there, when I took a youth group a few years back. I thought it would be awesome to have a house in the mountains (if you have the $). Oh well, the grass is always greener–!

Yeah, I thought I remembered that term being thrown around in studio class, when I was still in art college. I do mostly digital stuff now, as well. I'm glad I have a traditional background, though. Keep up the great work, and thanks for stopping by for a view of mine.Hope to see maybe some sequential work from you soon! Chris

Consider the words of C.S. Lewis:
"If there lurks in most modern minds the notion that to desire our own good and to earnestly hope for the enjoyment of it is a bad thing, I suggest that this notion has crept in from Kant and the Stoics and is no part of the Christian faith. Indeed, if we consider the unblushing promises of reward and the staggering nature of the rewards promised in the Gospels, it would seem that our Lord finds our desires, not too strong, but too weak. We are half-hearted creatures, fooling around with drink and sex and ambition when infinite joy is offered us, like an ignorant child who wants to go on making mud pies in a slum because he cannot imagine what is meant by the offer of a holiday at sea. We are far too easily pleased."

Welcome to the CCAS. You will find some very gifted brothers and sisters in the Lord on this site. It is a great place to make some connections with people who love the Lord and love comics. Miller and Moore are two of the best. May the God of our Lord Jesus Christ richly bless you.

Welcome to the Christian Comic Arts Society (CCAS) Online Network!
