PLEASE don't be personally offended if I don't respond to your Friend Request!
I'm fairly "old school" and don't really feel comfortable with the whole MySpace concept of listing complete strangers as "friends." So, "My Friends" is a list of brothers and sisters I've known a long time, have actually met, and/or with whom I've corresponded enough to feel reasonably acquainted ... but I do look forward to connecting with more folks here in the days ahead as time allows, Lord willing. Thanks for your understanding.
In the meantime, anyone is welcome to follow me as NButlerCOMIX35 on Twitter or COMIX35 and Christian Comics International on Facebook.

The 'Spirituality in Comics' Panel from San Diego Comic-Con 2011
In comics, movies, and even Broadway musicals like “The Book Of Mormon”, spiritual themed work seems to be unexpectedly coming from the least religious of sources.
Panelists including SERGIO CARIELLO (The Action Bible), RUSSELL DALTON (Marvelous Myths: Marvel Superheroes and Everyday Faith), BUZZ DIXON (Serenity/Hits & Misses), and MIKE SHIELDS (Blue Blazes) discuss how a new generation of comics and pop culture are exploring timeless truths and also address the question “Is Mass Media Our New Church?”
Did you know that CCAS has monthly meetings in the Los Angeles area? Contact Eric Jansen for more info!

Also, members of CCAS have produced the APAzine ALPHA-OMEGA for over 25 years! We have about five openings right now! Contact Eric Jansen for more info! (This is a 30-member active-participation-only photocopied magazine for Christian writers and artists who submit a "trib" every other month for fun, fellowship, and critiques by other members. Between postage and your photocopying costs, you might pay anywhere from $5 to $25 per issue.)
Your current Board of Directors includes Eric Jansen (Secretary,) and Kevin Yong (Treasurer.) Both have served as President of the L.A. CCAS chapter. Kevin is also the Assistant Central Mailer for ALPHA-OMEGA. Also on the Board are Scott A. Shuford (Vice President) and Geoff Strout (Webmaster.)

Thought I'd let you know the Kingdom Comics website is back up, if you still want to check it out.

I've spoken with you before. I am the publisher of Kingdom Comics. Awhile back, I was telling you about a youth ministry in the Phillipines. I was supplying our comic books to this ministry on a regular basis. I don't know if you remember that or not, but the reason I am sending you this message is because It is my desire to continue to donate are comic books to ministries all over the world. Knowing what you're involved with, it is my hope that you would be able to stear Kingdom Comics in the right direction. We've long stopped looking to make a profit doing this. Instead, we've been donating are books everywhere from prisons, to youth ministries in Kuwait, to youth ministries locally. However, I feel led of The Lord to really expand this ministry on an even larger international scale. I was hoping you would know any areas that would be willing to recieve our comic books.
Thanks
In Christ!
