Posted on December 5, 2013 at 5:23am 0 Comments

For those into end times tales, grab up a copy of Dead Sea Souls, the graphic novel adaptation of Christian author Doug K. Pearson's gripping novel. Adapted to GN format by yours truly, with gut wrenching graphics by artist extraordinaire Fernando Peniche.

Check it out and feel free to comment.

Great devotional

Posted on August 15, 2009 at 5:54am 0 Comments

Since we're all plugged in to a visual medium, I thought of this group as soon as I read my devotional today. What a visual story Bayless Conley relates here:

No Unbelievers in Hell

In Luke chapter 16, Jesus tells a very sobering story,

"The rich man also died and was buried. And being in torments in Hades, he lifted up his eyes and saw Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom... Then he said, 'I beg you therefore, father, that you would send him to…

Hi ya, I know you like Christian comics so I know you'll love The Word for WORD Bible Comic(Unabridged, historically accurate graphic novel of the Bible with a high view of scripture. For ages 15+)

To complete the first book I need your help, as I am raising funds on Kickstarter. My passion is to get God's Word in full into the hands of young believer and unbelievers and comic lovers of all ages, in the hope they will come to really know God. Please check it out at the KS page, it's going well but I still need lots of backers so I hope as a CCAS member you'll please pledge to support this project...

If you are concerned about the accuracy and faithfulness to the text please read this Blog...

umm... a couple things, but I really am learning to color on photoshop. I worked for a company called Alpha Omega comics, the title was called Origins. I was the penciler. The book came out 2 yrs. ago. I am working with a company now called Nebcron comics.Once my contract is up I will be working on my OGN. I am also working on a childrens book. Which I will post as soon as I have at least 4 pages. I finished writing it, now I just have to do the drawing part.

Just exploring at work and BOOM! you are here. Man it is great to see some of the more "known" christian creators on here. love lions, tigers and bears. Glory to God for this website. And when I mean known, I mean it as more exposed in the world of comics.

Consider the words of C.S. Lewis:
"If there lurks in most modern minds the notion that to desire our own good and to earnestly hope for the enjoyment of it is a bad thing, I suggest that this notion has crept in from Kant and the Stoics and is no part of the Christian faith. Indeed, if we consider the unblushing promises of reward and the staggering nature of the rewards promised in the Gospels, it would seem that our Lord finds our desires, not too strong, but too weak. We are half-hearted creatures, fooling around with drink and sex and ambition when infinite joy is offered us, like an ignorant child who wants to go on making mud pies in a slum because he cannot imagine what is meant by the offer of a holiday at sea. We are far too easily pleased."

By the way, any chance of 'LTB' going to dvd or animated movie anytime soon? Please keep up the good work, and what ever happened to Jack Lawrence?
