Wrote, art directed, and published two graphic novels on the life of David. Volume 2 won BEST GRAPHIC NOVEL and BEST INTERIOR DESIGN from The International Book Awards. Volume 1 won an IPPY Silver Medal for 2nd BEST GRAPHIC NOVEL from the Independent Publisher Book Awards.
I've since written a series of murder mysteries which are allegories of Christ's ministry. Mantle Rock Publishing is releasing the first one, The Rector, in November this year. I've also written a Christian YA sci-fi that needs a publishing home. Know any?
My Testimony: (We encourage members to share briefly about how their faith in Christ has impacted their lives.)
I'm a born again Christian, saved in 1970 while a wild student at Ole Miss. Married for 43 years, with 3 grown sons, all born-again Christians. I"ve been a member of Independent Presbyterian Church for 33 years. I've been to Cuba twice on door-to-door evangelism mission trips (going back again in November), and a member of Kairos prison ministry.
Dream Job: (If you could have your dream job in the comics industry, what would it be?)
For a publishing house to hire me to write and art direct the life of Daniel.
Favorite Comic Creators:
Don't have any. Sorry.
