Hello everybody who's a member and visitor of the christian comic arts society!

I'm very very very excited that I discovered this website! Since like Winter 2009 I have a vision for a christian experimental comic magazine for an older (means 16+) audience. First it was a one man project, now we are a core team of five people (including a magazine layouter/print worker and till now just one comic drawer and three assistants). The name of the magazine is "Emblazor", it's…

Hi ya, I know you like Christian comics so I know you'll love The Word for WORD Bible Comic(Unabridged, historically accurate graphic novel of the Bible with a high view of scripture. For ages 15+)

To complete the first book I need your help, as I am raising funds on Kickstarter. My passion is to get God's Word in full into the hands of young believer and unbelievers and comic lovers of all ages, in the hope they will come to really know God. Please check it out at the KS page, it's going well but I still need lots of backers so I hope as a CCAS member you'll please pledge to support this project...

If you are concerned about the accuracy and faithfulness to the text please read this Blog...

PS - Please add me as a friend here on CCAS

I'm still currently in college, studying at an art university in San Francisco, CA. Most of my creative energy goes into my classwork, but I have a few personal projects happening under my sleeve. The idea to possible begin creating my own comic or graphic novel is very new to me.

Our conversation yesterday reminded me of this animation. It has that vintage look I mentioned, and a really interesting use of symbolism.

Welcome to CCAS!!

Welcome to the Christian Comic Arts Society (CCAS) Online Network!

Did you know that CCAS has monthly meetings in the Los Angeles area? Contact Eric Jansen for more info!

Also, members of CCAS have produced the APAzine ALPHA-OMEGA for over 25 years!  We have about five openings right now!  Contact Eric Jansen for more info!  (This is a 30-member active-participation-only photocopied magazine for Christian writers and artists who submit a "trib" every other month for fun, fellowship, and critiques by other members.  Between postage and your photocopying costs, you might pay anywhere from $5 to $25 per issue.)
