When I was eleven I had a dream. No, it was more than a dream, it was a goal, a mission. My mission was to do comics as an adult. That is what I told myself what I wanted to do. And from that day I began to train myself to become the best comic book artist that I could be. I was determined to accomplish this dream.
Years passed and I never stop training as an artist and I held tight to the focus until I became a Christian in my early twenties. This was after a failed attempt to start a…

Folks, a lot been happening. I've been getting blessed and Satan been going on the offensive then I go on the defensive and offensive and so forth. Recently, my computer went out during a storm though it was on a power surge. I hadn't saved my web comic pages yet, so I'm redoing them now. A delay, but so be it. A few days later I was in a car accident, my fault, but thank God my car is still running. Been a lot of drama. Feel like Satan doesn't want my web comic out and he's been trying to…

Hey, this blog is later than I wanted to, but I've been extra busy of late. While I was planning to write this blog, I think I had three long topics go thrpugh my mind that I would post here. But right now my mind is a little blank.
I think mostly, I want to say is praise God, He is so wonderful. Since my first volume came out, I've been going through some ups and downs. Satan has been attacking my finances and my mind. But I know God has given me authority to defeat the enemy and…
ContinueThe 'Spirituality in Comics' Panel from San Diego Comic-Con 2011
In comics, movies, and even Broadway musicals like “The Book Of Mormon”, spiritual themed work seems to be unexpectedly coming from the least religious of sources.
Panelists including SERGIO CARIELLO (The Action Bible), RUSSELL DALTON (Marvelous Myths: Marvel Superheroes and Everyday Faith), BUZZ DIXON (Serenity/Hits & Misses), and MIKE SHIELDS (Blue Blazes) discuss how a new generation of comics and pop culture are exploring timeless truths and also address the question “Is Mass Media Our New Church?”

thank you for being my first friend request :D
Thanks for the "Like" on page 4 from Apocryphal, brother.
Thanks Melchizedek. It's difficult to say when the Apocryphal comic will be finished because of time restrains.
Except for the coloring (by Donna Gregory), and the lettering, I am doing mostly everything else but unfortunately in my free time.
The story could be presented as little as a three 24-page issue mini-series.
I wish I could tell you "in 5 months", but that's impossible.
I'll continue to post progress here at CCAS. Thanks for your compliments :)
