Went to comic store after an appointment. Not one comic interested me enough to pick up. Not. One.

This means...if you interest me enough...I just may buy yours.

Comics are dead. Long live comics.

I can barely look at a comic book anymore. Blood, guts, gore, anger, vitriol, spatter, evil, malevolence. Piss poor coloring - pink, purple, green and mud. Unhappy people, doing unhappy things. Lack of hope. It's all gone.

Heroes aren't good. The baddies are more evil than evil, but they're just misunderstood. And the ends always justify the means.

Knock-offs, rip-offs, re-cycled, regurgitated, and shovels digging ever deeper…

Hi ya, I know you like Christian comics so I know you'll love The Word for WORD Bible Comic(Unabridged, historically accurate graphic novel of the Bible with a high view of scripture. For ages 15+)

To complete the first book I need your help, as I am raising funds on Kickstarter. My passion is to get God's Word in full into the hands of young believer and unbelievers and comic lovers of all ages, in the hope they will come to really know God. Please check it out at the KS page, it's going well but I still need lots of backers so I hope as a CCAS member you'll please pledge to support this project...

If you are concerned about the accuracy and faithfulness to the text please read this Blog...

PS - Please add me as a friend here on CCAS

Hey Martin, lately I've been having some writer's block. I really do like drawing though, even when the ideas won't come, and was wondering if you might maybe possibly want to work together, with you as writer. You strike me as having a lot of ideas with little time to execute them. In the little time I've known you, you've struck me as someone whose outlook I can appreciate and whose style I can respect.

I'm really looking to create STRIPS, not graphic novels or anything so arduous. And if a teamup for a little while or so isn't your bag... No biggee man - my feelings won't be hurt. Just let me know.

I have in the past, but nothing currently.  And most of my artwork thus far have not been specifically created to glorify God.  I have not published anything since I was in College, but have written, drawn, and created sevearl ideas that need to be put to ink and paper... my brain is getting too full ;)

Hi Martin! So you live in Ottawa? I visited there a few times through my sister's relatives. I've read that you want to participate in the Quebec seminar, I'll be attending and teaching so it will be a joy to meet you and your friends, hopefully! I enjoy your work, you have a nice expressive style.  Do you speak French?
