Hi ya, I know you like Christian comics so I know you'll love The Word for WORD Bible Comic, (Unabridged, historically accurate graphic novel of the Bible with a high view of scripture. For ages 15+)
To complete the first book I need your help, as I am raising funds on Kickstarter. My passion is to get God's Word in full into the hands of young believer and unbelievers and comic lovers of all ages, in the hope they will come to really know God. Please check it out at the KS page, it's going well but I still need lots of backers so I hope as a CCAS member you'll please pledge to support this project...
Welcome to the CCAS. As already noted, the CCAS will be having a table at the Phoenix Con in May. Don Ensign and I will be manning the table and hosting a Spiritual Themes in Comics panel. Hopefully you'll be able to attend and we'll have the pleasure of meeting you. May the Lord richly bless you, your family, and the works of your hands.
I have been to the Phoenix Con twice and they have been enjoyable experiences. I have been to San Diego many times over the years and Phoenix has somewhat the feel of San Diego perhaps in the early 1980s. Phoenix is not the 100,000 plus monster San Diego has become. I would say it is also pretty kid friendly and your children might enjoy the experience. Hope that helps.
I'd enjoy meeting you sometime. I live in Green Valley. I've been
wondering if there were other Christian comics people in the
Tucson area. I've had a CCAS table at the last two Tucson Comic Cons.
Also we are going to have a CCAS table at the Phoenix Con in May.
Welcome to the Christian Comic Arts Society (CCAS) Online Network!

Also, members of CCAS have produced the APAzine ALPHA-OMEGA for over 25 years! We have about five openings right now! Contact Eric Jansen for more info! (This is a 30-member active-participation-only photocopied magazine for Christian writers and artists who submit a "trib" every other month for fun, fellowship, and critiques by other members. Between postage and your photocopying costs, you might pay anywhere from $5 to $25 per issue.)
