Okay, I have a confession to make: I have a MASSIVE obsession with the Ace Attorney games right now. I really enjoy the unique cases, well-written characters and even some of the humor. I've noticed…Continue

One of my mom's friends and her son need your prayers in five minutes. Her son was born without part of his brain, which causes him to have severe micro seizures. They're having a meeting with the…Continue

What to do about Brianna's clothes when she transforms

Started this discussion. Last reply by Brien Sparling Sep 4. 2 Replies

I've been trying to decide what happens to Brianna's clothes when she uses her shapeshifting powers. My original thought was to have her "normal" clothes not transform with her, but have her in bike…Continue

Noticing another works seeping into my series

Okay, I have a confession to make: I have a MASSIVE obsession with the Ace Attorney games right now. I really enjoy the unique cases, well-written characters and even some of the humor. I've noticed a problem, though, some of the case ideas and plot lines have been seeping into my series. I've noticed case plot lines from Manimal, NCIS, and Danganronpa working their way in, too. Any advice? (and just to clarify, I'm thinking about NOT watching any more of Danganronpa because I find the…See More

They're having a meeting with the principal of his school to determine if he can stay in school. Please keep them in your thoughts and prayers.

Working around another leap in logic

I'd like to start off by thanking everyone who commented on my last discussion. I very much appreciate your ideas. However, I found a leap in logic. Brianna doesn't always know when she's about to transform and can't use her powers on a voluntary basis until volume 4 (she discovers she can use her powers on cases in volume 1, obviously, but it's not going to be a scene where she transforms on her own will). She'll gradually gain more control over her powers as the series goes on. The…See More

Brien Sparling replied to K.G. Adams's discussion What to do about Brianna's clothes when she transforms
"I think a key question is how well can she control her transformation back to human. If she can, then she can stash clothing or just know where every thrift store with a changing room is located in town. Either way Kevin is right, once you and your…"

Kevin D. Lintz replied to K.G. Adams's discussion What to do about Brianna's clothes when she transforms
"I think it makes more sense for her clothes to not transform at all. I understand your desire for modesty, but it doesn't make sense to only have some of her clothes transform, but not the others. You definitely need to address it, but it…"

I need Sunday School advice

I can't find a better place to post this, but I need advice pretty soon. I'm teaching Sunday School to a class of kids roughly 1st-6th grade age (I go to a very small church) This Sunday. The lesson is about sacrificial love, and I like to plan my own lessons. I've been reading about how we need to talk about the crucifixion and resurrection other times than just at Easter, and I thought this would be a good opportunity (the curriculum we're using has several Bible story suggestions for each…See More

I'm a newbie artist, so I won't have too much information on that, but I can pray for you if you need it. However, if you're looking for recommendations on good, appropriate manga (Japanese comics) to read, I may have some advice. I also do mixed media, so if you're interested in using collage for backgrounds, I may be able to help you, though I am just learning myself. I also love to hear prayer requests. I'm currently working on a sci-fi/mystery/romance comic with a manga-ish look, so any advice is greatly appreciated.
My Testimony: (We encourage members to share briefly about how their faith in Christ has impacted their lives.)
I was raised in a committed Christian family. I first began to get into anime at the end of eighth grade. Faith has been a slow process because of my Asperger's Syndrome (a form of Autism), but I'm getting there. I believe faith is a journey. From the time you first believe to the time you go to be with our Father in Heaven.
Dream Job: (If you could have your dream job in the comics industry, what would it be?)
I'd love to be a Christian manga artist.

Hey! Thanks for checking in. I am planning on doing so tonight or tomorrow, as I've got a lot of free time this week. I want to get some of my drawings as well as the cover of the first issue of my comic that's coming out on Comixology tomorrow. I will connect with or friend you when i make an account (if you're able to do that?)

Thanks for the added info on Paigeeworld. I think I will get on that site. Now that my comic is on a digital imprint, I can't post pages, but I'll at least post the covers for the issues that are coming out (which I'm excited about and think Paigeeworld folks who like Euromanga will appreciate)
