Profile Information

Eureka Springs, Arkansas
Area(s) of Interest or Expertise:
Owner and designer of and
Fish Shticks is my new quirky off-beat project that I hope will grow into picture books etc.
My Testimony: (We encourage members to share briefly about how their faith in Christ has impacted their lives.)
I am thankful everyday for our Savior who has led us out of darkness and into marvelous light. He is the reason I live and breathe so all I do is for Him. Before I turned from a lifestyle of unrepentant sin I designed t-shirts for Star Wars and other cool brands. Today I get to use that experience to glorify God with gospel centered messages.
Dream Job: (If you could have your dream job in the comics industry, what would it be?)
Very similar to what I do now, but with an audience. Meaning working from home on personal fun and silly comic art.
Favorite Comic Creators:
Craig Thompson - Blankets
Adrian Tomine - Optic Nerve
Shaun Tan - The Arrival

Hi ya, I know you like Christian comics so I know you'll love The Word for WORD Bible Comic(Unabridged, historically accurate graphic novel of the Bible with a high view of scripture. For ages 15+)

To complete the first book I need your help, as I am raising funds on Kickstarter. My passion is to get God's Word in full into the hands of young believer and unbelievers and comic lovers of all ages, in the hope they will come to really know God. Please check it out at the KS page, it's going well but I still need lots of backers so I hope as a CCAS member you'll please pledge to support this project...

If you are concerned about the accuracy and faithfulness to the text please read this Blog...

PS - Please add me as a friend here on CCAS

Welcome to the CCAS.  You should post some samples of your work.  May the God of our Savior, Jesus Christ, richly bless you, your family, and the works of your hands.

Hi there! Welcome to the society. :)

Welcome to the Christian Comic Arts Society (CCAS) Online Network!

Did you know that CCAS has monthly meetings in the Los Angeles area? Contact Eric Jansen for more info!

Also, members of CCAS have produced the APAzine ALPHA-OMEGA for over 25 years!  We have about five openings right now!  Contact Eric Jansen for more info!  (This is a 30-member active-participation-only photocopied magazine for Christian writers and artists who submit a "trib" every other month for fun, fellowship, and critiques by other members.  Between postage and your photocopying costs, you might pay anywhere from $5 to $25 per issue.)
