My Testimony: (We encourage members to share briefly about how their faith in Christ has impacted their lives.)
Well, quite simply put, the Lord has shown me various truths about his creation which I now have a responsibility to communicate to others in the only way I know how - with my silly little drawings! The same silly drawings that consistently got me in trouble all through my school years.
Dream Job: (If you could have your dream job in the comics industry, what would it be?)
A conceptual designer and character developer for any innovative, spiritually-centric project I might be graced with.
Favorite Comic Creators:
STAN LEE, Jim Lee, Todd McFarlane, Frank Miller, Joseph Michael Linsner, Marc Silvestri, Andy Kubert, Adam Kubert, Art Spiegelman, Steven Hughes, Brian Bolland, Dark One, John Romita Jr., Frank Frazetta, Simon Bisley...many, many more oh my Lord! However, Stan THE MAN first and foremost without a doubt! Excelsior!!
I am a leader of a League City Girl Scout troop (11-12 year olds) and my daughter is hostessing the Comic Artist badge in 2 weeks. She told me she wanted to meet an actual comic artist and so I am looking for someone who would be willing to inspire some budding talent and share their inspiration with the girls. It is a smaller group of 7 girls. Would this be something you are interested in? Our preference is that we stay with someone Christian based instead of only main stream.
