Best Mann For the Job #59: What'm I sitting in?

Best Mann For The Job #59 is now online at TitleTrakk.com: Out at the farmhouse, shots were fired at Sheriff Grace Mann and reporter Jack MacGraw -- and the sheriff got them both off the porch out of harm's way. Now the sheriff plans her next move, while MacGraw plans a change of pants ...…See More

Crime fiction and giant monsters. (Anytime you can combine crime fiction with giant monsters, that's gold!)
My Testimony: (We encourage members to share briefly about how their faith in Christ has impacted their lives.)
God called me as a very young child -- but that didn't stop me from making some stupid choices here and there over the years. I'm thrilled that He continues to love me and put up with me, and that He saw fit to introduce me to my wonderful wife, Erica. Jesus is Lord!

Dream Job: (If you could have your dream job in the comics industry, what would it be?)
I'd love to write more novels and start writing comics regularly.

I'm thrilled to be working on the continuity strip BEST MANN FOR THE JOB with my wife, Erica. The series stars Grace Mann, a woman with a complicated past who returns home to become sheriff of Hope Falls, Tennessee. It's hosted weekly on TitleTrakk.com. Read it from the beginning at StudioWell.com/BestMannForTheJob.

Mann Vs. Superman!

Posted on July 20, 2009 at 5:39pm 0 Comments

Best Mann For The Job #22: This week's one-panel emergency-worker drama is *almost* a swipe of Action Comics #1 -- because when I wrote the script, I got out my battered old hardcover copy of Superman: From the 30's to the 70's (Bonanza Books)*, pointed to page 16 and told my wife, "Try to make it look like this."…

We're now up to the 20th installment of Erica's and my drama/mystery series, Best Mann For The Job. Those with a keen eye may have noticed our subtle tribute to the legendary Osamu Tezuka (1929-1989), the first cartoonist to apply cinematographic techniques to Japanese comics.…

hey Chris!!!  Good to see another familiar face around here!  i just joined a few days back.  Trying to slowly work my way back into the CC scene after a 5 or 6 years break.  I'll check out the Family Fiction site but want to make sure I have the right one you are referring to....is it www.FamilyFiction.com?  I figured it was when I goggled it but wanted to make sure. Hope Erica is doing well.  Blessings!  E!
