- I'm a freelance illustrator and comic book penciler. I have interest in art in all it's forms. I also like sculpting, painting, and woodworking from time to time.
- My Testimony: (We encourage members to share briefly about how their faith in Christ has impacted their lives.)
- Raised in the "Bible Belt" &there's a church on every corner. My grandmother, a strong graceful woman, took me every Sunday. I had some bad times at those churches. I went down a dark road after that. God pulled me out of that place & stays by my side...of that I'll be eternally grateful...and I'll be staying on that path.
- Dream Job: (If you could have your dream job in the comics industry, what would it be?)
- Working for Marvel, DC, or Aspen Comics! I pretty much already have my dream job making money from doing small projects and commissions...but it wouldn't hurt to get a call from them, ya know?
- Favorite Comic Creators:
- Stan Lee, Michael Turner... maybe more later...that's all I can gather off the top of my head.

The 'Spirituality in Comics' Panel from San Diego Comic-Con 2011
In comics, movies, and even Broadway musicals like “The Book Of Mormon”, spiritual themed work seems to be unexpectedly coming from the least religious of sources.
Panelists including SERGIO CARIELLO (The Action Bible), RUSSELL DALTON (Marvelous Myths: Marvel Superheroes and Everyday Faith), BUZZ DIXON (Serenity/Hits & Misses), and MIKE SHIELDS (Blue Blazes) discuss how a new generation of comics and pop culture are exploring timeless truths and also address the question “Is Mass Media Our New Church?”
