Area(s) of Interest or Expertise:
Cartoons, illustration (digital and traditional), graphic design.
My Testimony: (We encourage members to share briefly about how their faith in Christ has impacted their lives.)
Christ has changed my life by giving me purpose in life (to help share His truth with others) and hope for the future!
Dream Job: (If you could have your dream job in the comics industry, what would it be?)
I'd enjoy being able to make a living off being an illustrator and freelance graphic designer. I enjoy logo and cover design, as well as illustrating characters and environments.

I enjoy picking up comics for the artwork, but don't really have any favorite artists. Would like to meet and network with some talented people in the christian art community though!

A Christian Geek on the Death and Life of Artists

Posted on August 25, 2016 at 9:50am 0 Comments

2016 has been a year that we’ve lost a lot of famous folks from accidents, sickness and other circumstances due to being human on planet Earth. From David Bowie (singer, songwriter and actor), to Jerry Doyle (actor, talk-show host, and Michael Garibaldi on Babylon 5), Kenny Baker (R2-D2 in Star Wars, as well as roles in Goonies and Time Bandits), Anton Yelchin (27 year old…

Jesus Christ Comics!

Posted on August 7, 2016 at 2:27pm 2 Comments

I ran across Jesus Christ Comics on twitter recently, and received permission from the creator to share with you on Axiom! I was hoping to get an interview, but the creator (@jchristcomics) said that they wanted to keep the focus on the work, and not on themselves – which is awesome! But with such beautiful artwork that seeks to communicate the story of Christ, we really hope…

Not of This World!

Christians and Public School???

The above cartoon is one I created in response to listening to Colin Gunn on Reconstructionist Radio’s War Room Podcast. For those of you not familiar, Colin Gunn is an award winning writer, director, producer, animator and game developer whose impressive work also spans a number of documentary films! In the podcast, Gunn discusses how the creative medium of…

Welcome to CCAS! Your web site address has a small typo that makes it hard to get to your site, but once there I found it to be well designed and the cartoons to be clean, clear and engaging.

Look around the site, check out the art gallery and discussions; jump in when you feel comfortable.
