Chris Hemsworth as Thor

Posted on April 30, 2010 at 10:18am 0 Comments

So, Marvel.com has released it's first images as Chris Hemsworth playing Thor. http://http://bit.ly/cqwOlk

I have to say, the costume looks well done. I like what Marvel Studios is doing with their movies (and wish they would get the rights to all their characters back). I'm sure Thor is probably a touchy subject, what with him being portrayed as a god. As a Christian, I know that he isn't worthy of standing in the presence of the One True God. As a… Continue

Enjoyed your review of Dark Knight Rises on Hollywood Jesus.  Since you live in the Southern California area I would encourage you to attend the monthly meeting of the CCAS.  It is the 1st Saturday of each month.  This month it will be in La Mirada, CA.  If you want more details, contact either Eric Jansen or Kevin Yong.  May the Lord richly bless you.

Thank you, but I'm pretty busy working on my own comic book now to take on another one. I'm sure you can find some good artist here though, like I said God will provide for the dream He puts in your heart.

Thanks for the friend invite! I kind of started the same way had an idea and no artist then God made me into one in the course of three years. I'm still growing and learning with each issue, but God has seen me through each step I'm sure He will do the same for you.

Souba

Consider the words of C.S. Lewis:
"If there lurks in most modern minds the notion that to desire our own good and to earnestly hope for the enjoyment of it is a bad thing, I suggest that this notion has crept in from Kant and the Stoics and is no part of the Christian faith. Indeed, if we consider the unblushing promises of reward and the staggering nature of the rewards promised in the Gospels, it would seem that our Lord finds our desires, not too strong, but too weak. We are half-hearted creatures, fooling around with drink and sex and ambition when infinite joy is offered us, like an ignorant child who wants to go on making mud pies in a slum because he cannot imagine what is meant by the offer of a holiday at sea. We are far too easily pleased."
