Welcome to the CCAS. I LOVE the work that you have posted. It is excellent. Thank you for sharing. I pray that you make some great connections on this site. May our gracious Lord and Savior richly bless you and the works of your hands.
Thank you so much for that thanks, but honestly a man named John Batchelor spent decades with the Ainu more than a 100 years ago wrote a dictionary, grammar, and new testament for Ainu. Back then, there were no computers, so his work has been scanned as PDF and OCR'd with a great many errors. I'm only fixing errors and trying to bring Ainu in a way that it can be learned more quickly by those who want to learn it. Numbers speaking, 175,000 people likely don't know they are of Ainu descent, while about 25,000 do. Less than 10 have adult fluency. So, an issue of extinction through assimilation and forgotten memories is the present issue. A gospel comic using Ainu scriptures would be helpful, I think. Encouraging some to remember, or work at it.
Welcome to CCAS. Glad you picked Mark. Perhaps you might consider visiting ainuweb.wordpress.com and seeing my recent work to get the critical language of Ainu off the ground. Maybe we could work together on Mark scriptures, if you want.
