(I get inspiration of short stories and illustrations during bible study especially when preparing to teach at my youth church. I get ideas of comic strips but I'm not great at drawing. I need to develop my writing and I would like to improve on my basic drawing skills)

- I grew up in the church but only really came to know God on the 1st of December 2007. After years of turning away from everything I had been taught, God rescued me and gave me a knowledge of him. I have been privilledged to experience the joy of salvation and an ongoing relationship with Christ. Along with this came a sense of purpose. My desire is that my life and everything I do with it will give glory to God. My goal is to harness the talents I know God has given me so they can be used as instruments of soul winning and pointing other to Jesus Christ.

The 'Spirituality in Comics' Panel from San Diego Comic-Con 2011
In comics, movies, and even Broadway musicals like “The Book Of Mormon”, spiritual themed work seems to be unexpectedly coming from the least religious of sources.
Panelists including SERGIO CARIELLO (The Action Bible), RUSSELL DALTON (Marvelous Myths: Marvel Superheroes and Everyday Faith), BUZZ DIXON (Serenity/Hits & Misses), and MIKE SHIELDS (Blue Blazes) discuss how a new generation of comics and pop culture are exploring timeless truths and also address the question “Is Mass Media Our New Church?”

Consider the words of C.S. Lewis:
