Dust vs. Lizards

I'm working on a really cool project at the moment; illustrating the second book in the epic BuzzBomb fantasy series by author Jason Matheson.

This is one of the illustrations for the upcoming book, where a lone cockroach warrior takes on an entire gang of lizards to save her little brother. Hope you like it! I'm loving the illustration process on this project, it's the first time in years that I've really had the opportunity to just cut loose with my imagination. Jason has cleverly woven Christian themes and messages into the narrative of the story.

The Buzzbomb books are perfect for 7-12 year old boys, and are unlike anything else out there that I've seen. Full of adventure, action, pathos and plot twists. The first book was illustrated by Bill Hope (not me), you can get yourself a copy here:
