I have been presented with a whiteboard illustration commission. I will be starting it in the new year. I person commissioning me said that this will be for promotional work. He wants an estimate for the initial drawings and a rate for the final work. He is providing a script, storyboards, the camera to use, and most likely the supplies. He will edit it himself. This is my first time doing this. I am confident in my skills, but have not had success in finding out about rates.

Have any of you done this for pay before? If so, what did you charge? How did you figure out this value?

Any links, suggestions, or resources would be helpful. I would like responses from those who have done this or those who can direct me to someone they know, who has.

Thank you
