A Network of Christian Fellowship for Comics Fans, Pros, and Amateurs
I don't normally pass on info such as this without checking out the source first, but I'm a bit pressed for time currently. So, just to be clear, our ministry doesn't have any connection with these folks, and I don't know anything about them other than what is listed below, but it might be worth someone's time here to follow up on this...

E-mail: aypbell@hotmail.com
Categories: Painting/Illustration
Budget: $0.00; Time left: 22 days 5 hours
My organization is publishing two quarterly Christian comic books (4 books a year/title) and artists are needed. Artists should be capable of penciling, inking and coloring. Strong background and perspective skills are preferred. Good work ethic, timeliness and communication is necessary. Pay details discussed upon interview. reply to this email or at aypbell@hotmail.com
(Note that although it says "Budget: $0.00" it is apparently a paying job since it also states "Pay details discussed upon interview.")
If anyone does contact them and gets the job, please do keep us informed... that is, if there are no non-disclosure issues involved, of course. Thanks!
Blessings,
Nate Butler

The 'Spirituality in Comics' Panel from San Diego Comic-Con 2011
In comics, movies, and even Broadway musicals like “The Book Of Mormon”, spiritual themed work seems to be unexpectedly coming from the least religious of sources.
Panelists including SERGIO CARIELLO (The Action Bible), RUSSELL DALTON (Marvelous Myths: Marvel Superheroes and Everyday Faith), BUZZ DIXON (Serenity/Hits & Misses), and MIKE SHIELDS (Blue Blazes) discuss how a new generation of comics and pop culture are exploring timeless truths and also address the question “Is Mass Media Our New Church?”
